      My Gantt chart
      For my dissertation project I have to make a gantt chart. The summary line for each phase goes right until the end of the project and I cannot find a way to change it so that for example the phase 2 summary line ends when the phase 3 summary line starts. Its done it for the first one and i have no idea how I have done it.
      Any help would be appreciated

      Hi there and great you are getting a Master’s or Ph.D in PM….. the Summary bar always spans the duration of the sub tasks…. Create an overall Project Summary task …. then have multiple levels of summary tasks under… each one will span the duration of the sub-tasks which were indented under.
